About Us
For more than 15 years, we have been serving individuals, families, and companies who trust our expertise and in the way we do things.
We are a boutique law firm specializing in administrative, commercial, and civil law, with experience in economic regulation, environmental law, contracts, the insurance market, technological development, and technology applied to administrative and judicial proceedings.
We excel at designing legal and procedural strategies to bring major litigation cases to a successful conclusion, using modern approaches to evidence analysis and innovative strategies for managing the various stages of the process. We always begin with an in-depth analysis of the facts.
What sets us apart: examine all the factual and technological variables that will best bring us closer to the truth.
We are passionate about learning all the technological, economic, financial, and regulatory details of each of our clients’ businesses. Only by understanding these aspects in depth can we design a successful defense or regulatory strategy, as well as determine the most appropriate approach for starting a business or resolving a dispute.
Our Founder
Attorney Román Alberto Uez founded Ratio Consultores in 2008, after having built successful careers at leading law firms in Argentina.
Román Uez drew on all the experience he gained at the Menem y Asociados Law Firm in this new personal growth project, founding his own law firm. With this goal in mind and thanks to all the knowledge he had acquired, he embarked on this new challenge alongside a team of highly qualified attorneys who shared his vision. Among them was Marcela D’Alessandre, who, over time, became a partner at Ratio Law Firm.
For his part, Jorge Ortiz López had just completed a successful career at Estudio Curutchet–Odriozola, a law firm with an extensive track record both nationally and internationally, where he was able to build up a wealth of experience in corporate law that he would later bring to Ratio Consultores.
Their shared vision—the common belief that the practice of law should be an exercise in responsibility, and their passion for excellence in their work as they seek the best solutions—is what continues to guide them and set them apart today. That is also why they continue to be chosen by the solid client base they have built over time, and it is the foundation of the relationships of trust they have cultivated with their clients.
